• Special Guest - Andrew Gardiner – Fontanafredda Asia Pacific Barolo Aficionado and Area Manager

A passionate advocate for Italian, and more specifically Piedmont wines, Andrew is the Area Manager in charge of the Asia Pacific Region for Fontanafredda, of Serralunga d’Alba in Piedmont, Italy.

Work as a Cellarhand in the Barossa Valley, Retail Operations, and Management roles in all facets of the wine industry have led Andrew to work in Australia, China, South America, and Italy. Here he settled down for years, learning Italian, and the finer parts of “La Dolce Vita” before moving back to Asia with family in 2016. Having now returned to Melbourne, Australia Andrew is now spreading the gospel of Piedmont’s greatest wines throughout the Asia Pacific Region.

He loves travelling in Asia, and in particular taking part in culinary adventures to find out the best wine pairings for local delicacies, along with more conventional Italian fare. He is very excited and proud to be with you in Singapore to join us for a very special Fontanafredda Trade Tasting for an afternoon not to be missed!
